Our mission at DecodeNY is grounded in making acclimatization easier, faster and smoother for foreign nationals. Traditional relocation services may fall short of completing a fluid transition. We are a reliable, knowledgeable guide to comprehend and navigate the city.
Our founder, Christelle, is a seasoned New York City resident. Her extensive personal experience in expatriation started at age 9 when her father accepted an assignment in Saudi Arabia, quickly followed by Nigeria, Gabon, and Cameroon. She then attended college and earned a Master’s degree from University Paris IX – Dauphine.
In 1991, she came to New York City as an exchange student and never left. After receiving an MBA at Zicklin School of Business (CUNY), she worked in Finance and took a career break to care for her family during her spouse’s foreign assignments in Asia and Europe.

Je partais à NY pour quelques mois afin de réaliser un stage. Christelle a été présente dans les préparatifs avant le départ, notamment dans le choix d’un lieu où habiter, les modalités de transport.
Le service que propose Christelle a l’avantage tout d’abord de faire un gagner un temps considérable dans les recherches préparatoires à un séjour aux États Unis. Beaucoup d’informations sont difficilement accessibles par un accès internet français, du fait de la langue ou de la fiabilité du contenu. Christelle a optimisé tout cela dans ses conseils. Par ailleurs elle m’a aussi donné beaucoup d’avis et d’appréciation sur des choses que je n’aurai pu trouver à distance.
